From 1984 Until Today

Polyclinic Šlaj – Anić has been operating since 1984 and since then it has been constantly developing and expanding its scope of activities.

In the beginning, it operated as a dental practice, while in 2001 it was registered as a polyclinic with three dental offices, in 2009 it was moved to a new location at our current address. Advances in technology, continuous accumulation of knowledge, and increased number of patients resulted in the construction of this new facility. It was designed by architect Hrvoje Lovošević in collaboration with the project department of the German company KaVo, the world’s most famous manufacturer of dental equipment.

It is located in the center of Zagreb, near Kvaternik Square, in Štoosova 26 and extends to almost 1000 m2. The polyclinic is an institution in which the latest therapeutic methods and technologies in the field of dental medicine and dermatology are applied in a superbly decorated and equipped and ergonomically designed space.

Today Polyclinic Šlaj-Anić, in addition to providing the complete service in all fields of dental medicine, also provides the services of a digital dental X-ray, of a dental laboratory, and the latest activity within the polyclinic is dermatovenerology.

Human Resources

Within the polyclinic operate the best experts from various fields dental medicine, leading university professors and assistant professors with domestic and international reputation in teaching, postgraduate and professional education, scientific and clinical work.

The employees of the polyclinic are continuously educated, but even more often they educate their colleagues in the country and abroad. They are members of prestigious international associations and invited lecturers at congresses, editors or authors of books and textbooks, members of the editorial boards of winternational and domestic professional and scientific journals.

Our employees publish papers in international journals in the field of dental medicine, are mentors of diploma theses, master’s theses and doctoral dissertations, and are leading people in various specialised educational programs.

Interdisciplinarity And Technology

We live in an age of the internet and widely available information, our patients expect superior service, and are particularly interested in the best possible aesthetics.

The former comprehensive approach of a doctor to the patient’s problems in a highly demanding practice has become a thing of the past. Interdisciplinary cooperation, ie. the cooperation of several professional doctors, specialists and subspecialists in various fields is the only possible path to success – a satisfied patient who leaves our office with a smile on its face.

The interdisciplinary approach that we implement in the Polyclinic Šlaj-Anić is no exception and does not refer only to some special cases. After the examination, each patient is presented to a team of different specialists.

Our team consists of specialists in orthodontics, endodontics, periodontology, oral surgery, oral and dental pathology, implantology, and more recently dermatology. Based on this, a therapy plan is developed and procedures are carried out to achieve what we consider to be the only way to a satisfied patient.
